Working from home has been great, but it made me realize that I really wanted two things: 1- a standing desk, and 2- a more organized desk. Here is Part 1 of my solution.
I don’t have a before picture this time. Just know that my old desk was in this same closet. It was a board, a former shelf within the closet. It had a door, so the shoddy closet plaster work could be hidden from the world. It also had an electrical port and light. I start sharing today with the place I began to paint.
The finished product not only looks better, but it is more functional as well.

I primed all the plywood I used.
I drilled holes.
And started to make a box.
I added shelves and sanded the wood plugs.
In the end I had a rather solid cubicle.
I slid the desk into the closet.
I added finishing to the edges.
And inserted the molding.
Part 2 involves bottle caps.
